Employment References

Lauren's communication skills with our groups were really pleasing to watch. Her language was apropriate and at a level that was matched with the client group's standard. She tried really hard to insure that learning was taking place and adapted her strategies according to this.
As with communication it is an essential skill which needs developing rapidly by anyone who works with us. I am always impressed with how quickly our visiting U.Vic students get up to speed. This is a newcountry and a totally new college and working environment, with new sets of rules and management. Lauren picked up the changes quickly and tried hard to ask questions which would enable her to perform better and this information acquistion is the key to placement success.

To come to a new country with new management and new expectations is hard but Lauren coped admirably.

Within a group setting, Lauren always acted professionally and the groups always commented on her attitude and actions, which ulti mately were always professional and with due regard to the Centre's reputation.

Adaptability is the key and Lauren posseses this and the ability to empathise with groups in abundance. Having watched her develop over the summer period it is apparent that she has gained immensely and has developed hugely as a practitioner.
