Oakland's Farmers' Markets Helping out with the Farmers' Markets at Oaklands Community Centre opened my eyes up to a whole new sense of community. It was beautiful to watch neighbors and newcomers share in the culture, art, food, music, talent and local produce the Oaklands Community has to offer!	Community Garden I collaborated with the community gardener of Oaklands to create a gardening night for the youth of my Friday night drop-in program. They created beautiful flower art!	Victoria Kindness Challenge Two fellow Uvic students and I created the Victoria Kindness Challenge as part of an upper-level leadership class. It's one purpose: to promote kindness in our Victoria Community!
Community mosaic The Youth Leaders I had the opportunity to work with helped two fellow colleagues and I design and create our community legacy; a mosaic. It is a representation of our beloved community Oaklands!	East Sooke Park Adventure We used the funds raised from our photo booth to go on a Day Trip to East Sooke Park to have a picnic and enjoy our beautiful coast!	Youth Photo Booth As part of the Oaklands Community Farmers' Markets, the youth of my drop- in program decided to create a photo booth to raise funds for new equipment and activities. Passer-byes wore crazy costumes and posed for the camera!
